BALOO Training this Weekend

This Saturday the Marin Council is offering “Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation” BALOO Training at Camp Tamarancho.  (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

“Get the most out of the Cub Scout experience! Learn how to have fun in the outdoors. Includes lunch and training materials. Every pack should have at least two adults signed up for this training. You do not have to be a registered leader to attend. For pack overnight campouts, it is required that an adult who has received the BALOO training must be present at the overnight. For the best pack campouts ever, come to BALOO and receive great tips from seasoned veteran Scouters!”

Registration is now closed for this session but if anyone is interested in attending – I have a spot reserved that I cannot use.  Peter was planning to attend but now has a conflict.  I would take his spot but haven’t been able to find anyone to watch the ALL of the boys yet.  Pack 34 really needs more trained adults as we move into 2010-2011 and they only offer this a few times a year so if you are available please consider attending.  You do not have to be a Den Leader to take the training!!  We must have a minimum of two trained adults at each overnight.

Email me directly at lgilmore@iapsf.com if you would like to attend.
