Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to pass on congratulations to everyone who helped with scouting for food this year.  This year's campaign was our best collection year since I have been involved with Scouts. The Mill Valley Scouts collection numbers for the last three years have been:  2,184 lbs in 2007, 3,236 lbs in 2008 and 4,707 lbs this year.  As you can see we have more than doubled the amount of food collected over the last three years.  You should all be proud of the significant role you played in helping others, thanks for all of your efforts. 

I hope that everyone who is going up the the Winter Camp this weekend has a great time.  Be prepared for everything, it sounds like there could be a storm coming in this weekend.  I wish I could be with you for this year's trip, bring me back some great winter camp stories for our pack meeting next week.
